  13. SECTION I         I N S T A L L A T I O N
  14.

  16. SUMMARY: Download; Decompress to hard drive directory;
  17.      Run Setup from that directory; Respond to prompts; Run.
  18.  
  19. REQUIRES:
  20.     WINDOWS 3.1, or OS/2 2.1
  21.     VBRUN300.DLL
  22.     PKUNZIP V2.0 or greater (or comparable decompressor)
  23.  
  24.     About 2 MBytes of harddisk during install, 1 MByte after install
  25.  
  26. 1) This assumes that you received or downloaded SUPMK110.ZIP onto a diskette
  27.    or hard drive.
  28.  
  29. 2) From a DOS session, make a target directory
  30.    e.g.  mkdir c:\supermkt
  31.  
  32. 3) Change to that directory:  
  33.     c:
  34.     cd \supermkt
  35.  
  36. 4) Key: pkunzip P\supmk110
  37.           where P is the path to the downloaded file, such as
  38.            unzip a:\supmk110 or unzip c:\download\supmk110
  39.  
  40. 5) This operation creates several files, described below, but 
  41.    particularly SETUP.EXE, needed in the next step.
  42.  
  43. 6) From the Program manager of Windows or WIN-OS/2, select the 
  44.    menu command: File,Run
  45.  
  46. 7) Key: c:\supermkt\setup and Enter     
  47.         where c:\supermkt is the directory used 
  48.             in steps 2 and 3, above.
  49.  
  50. 8) Follow the instructions during the installation. You are asked to select
  51.    a target directory for the application. You may use the  
  52.    default which is the directory containing the decompressed files.
  53.    
  54. 9) A program group and item are automatically created. Click on the 
  55.    Super!Market icon and execute the program.
  56.  
  57. 10) To get help, press the F1 key at any time. To learn about the
  58.     system, choose the GETTING STARTED topic in the help menu.
  59.

  61. N.B.: Setup will not run unless VBRUN300.DLL is in the WINDOWS\SYSTEM
  62.       directory. Obtain VBRUN300.DLL from the distribution system
  63.       where you obtained Super!Market. For example, on CompuServe it
  64.       can be found in the Windows Shareware forum in the Index Section
  65.       as file VBRUN3.ZIP.

  70. The following files are created in the installation:

  72.     A. In the Application Directory
  73.                 (Default C:\SUPERMKT)
  74.         supermkt.exe    The executable application
  75.         supermkt.hlp    Help for the application
  76.         dbase           The Database of Types and Items
  77.         or  dbase.ori       If dbase already exists, so that user's dbase is not altered
  78.         readme.txt      This file with the latest information possible
  79.  
  80.     B. In the Windows System Directory
  81.                 (Default C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM or \WINOS2\SYSTEM)
  82.         cmdialog.vbx    Support
  83.         setupkit.dll    Support

  85.           * vbrun300.dll    Support

  87.           * A distributor of this package may remove this module from the
  88.             Super!Market package and provide it to you in another package.
  89.         You must have installed the module before beginning the setup
  90.                 of Super!Market.

  100.         If you decompressed files in the application directory
  101.         then you have duplicates of the files which have been
  102.         copied into the Windows directories, listed in B and
  103.         C, above. You may delete these from the application
  104.         directory.

  106.         If you decompressed files into a directory separate from
  107.         the application and windows directories, then all of the
  108.         files in that decompression directory can be deleted.
